This Awards Section has been Updated so far December 12, 2006. I have gone back to the site of each Award Giver and changed their URLS if they have left a New URL behind, and if the site was not to be found, I have removed the link to their site. If you click on an Award and no arrow to a site is shown then that site I could not find. I would also like to mention that all of the Awards that I have won are not yet on these award pages yet. I am working towards this goal. Now for my welcome.

     Welcome to NC's Outer Banks: A National Historical Treasure's Awards pages. I am thankful and grateful for each and every award my site has been able to win. There seems to be a mystique around the giving and receiving of awards. I have received some very helpful remarks from Award Givers, and have tried to incorporate each to make my site a better place on the web to communicate the history and beauty of North Carolina's Outer Banks. With that said, let me explain how I have arranged my awards pages.

     First, I have arranged the awards as they are ranked by Awards Sites!. You will notice that the Webs Awards Levels are also noted. Secondly, I have arranged the awards that are ranked by Webs Awards, but have no Award Sites! ranking. Last, I have arranged all the Unrated Awards I have received by the date received. I hope this information is helpful, and that you will be able to quickly find the award you are looking for.

     Regretfully, I must mention that I lost some of the email notifications which contained the Award Givers comments in an unforseen computer crash. For this I apologize, and have substituted the Award Sites! description for that particular award where applicable. I do thank those webmasters who were able to resend me their comments. For this I am extremely grateful.
